When installing your welding lens, follow these steps for optimal performance and protection: 1. Place the cover plate in front of the auto-darkening welding lens to shield it from any impact, scratches, or spatter damage. 2. Position the welding lens with the solar panel facing the welding arc inside the welding hood. Ensure that the hood shell or frame does not obstruct the solar panel and arc sensors. 3. Mount the cover plate behind the welding lens to safeguard it from dust and general wear and tear. 4. Utilize the retaining spring to secure the hood, or always wear safety glasses for additional protection during welding.
